It's 12:21, here at work. Partner fell asleep so i began to slack off too and came across this:
http://wot.motortrend.com/6669980/auto- ... l#commentsAs you may know, a Genesis 2.0T R-Spec already exists, and the 3.8 R-Spec is much the same idea. Take the best elements of a stripped-down, no-frills base Genesis Coupe and the top-of-the-line 3.8 Track model, and blend. The result is a Genesis Coupe equipped with Hyundai's 306-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 engine with its 266 pound-feet of torque and 149 mph top speed, a set of Brembo brakes sized 13.4 inches in front and 13.0 inches in the rear with four-piston calipers all around, a limited-slip differential, and a track-tuned suspension with stiffer springs, heavy-duty struts, larger anti-roll bars, and a strut tower brace.
What really separates the 3.8 R-Spec from the 3.8 Track, though, is a special front camber adjustment bolt. If you're planning on doing some racing with your Genesis Coupe, this is a very handy little feature. All 3.8 R-Spec cars will ship with the bolt included, but it will be the owner's responsibility to have the dealer install it.
Further differentiating the R-Spec from the well-equipped track model is the lack of non-essential bits such as automatic headlights, cruise control, and some interior accent pieces. The R-spec also comes with a six-speed manual transmission and manual air-conditioning only. No fancy electronics here. If you want something done, you do it yourself.
